Caring for your loved one

State of the art facilities

All visits to the Chapel of Rest must be made by prior appointment. You can call or email us to make your appointment. Most families wait until the decased has been washed and dressed into their final funeral clothes or gown before coming to say good bye, but if you feel the need to come before you are most welcome.

We understand that visiting the Chapel of Rest can be difficult. You can spend time with your loved one with an open or closed coffin lid.

There is no need for a deceased to be embalmed to see them in the Chapel of Rest. Embalming can help to preserve the appearance of the deceased and make visits to the Chapel of Rest easier; however, due to our mortuary facilities, we can care for a deceased person and cater to Chapel of Rest visits without the deceased being embalmed.

Mortuary facilities are where a deceased person is cared for and prepared before being placed in their coffin. Our facilities can be viewed by clicking the mortuary image on this page, using the private link for those that are interested or feel the need to see our facilities. We are very proud of the facilities we have and the high standards we have when caring for the deceased. Our facilities truly are state of the art.
